last day of my first week at work yay~
got my first vday gift from yixiang haha
quite sweet of him la
to put in the effort to get gifts for the girls
i dun wanna praise him one
but must show some appreciation mah
hahaha jus kidding

looking forward to the super packed weekend
parents coming to visit me on sat
sun also got some work going on
busy busy!
but my life cant be more enjoyable than now =)

actually i feel like i hadn't been living for the past few yrs
yes i had been enjoying
enjoying my food my entertainment my cheer my love
but the main purpose was not fulfilled
majority of the time i should have been in classes
because i was a student
but instead i spent my life slpg my hours away
or watching drama/animations
or going out hanging out with frens
or cheering/doing gymnastics
blah blah blah..

i am getting abit nowhere
i dunno if you get what i mean
i mean in life there shld always be a balance
50% fun 50% serious
something like that
but i was putting in my 99.99% for fun
and almost 0% for serious stuff
i was enjoying no doubt
but somehow it was just not complete now that i thot of it

but but
now i have so much to learn at work
almost everyth is so new to me
and its not exactly easy
cr always says that i can nv do business
what i am doing now is exactly what he nv expect me to do
and that idiot daniel says i am dumb!
its not exactly wise for an idiot to call another dumb ok!
hmph!

back to work!

vday gifts~

valentine's day is round the corner
came across some really sweet and nice handmade gifts
that i wanna share it with everyone!
chocolates are always associated with vday
other than getting those nicely packaged chocolates from the stores
which you can get them at anywhere
why not hand-make some on your own
which is a unique and one-and-only gift
jus like your special one =)
below are the 2 recipes i am going to share with you~

1. chocolate candy hearts

what you'll need:
- plastic heart-shaped candy mold
- red, white and cocoa colored candy melts
- sandwich bags (zipper, not pleated)
- scissors
- spoon
- wax paper
- plate
- wooden skewer or clean craft paint brush

how to make it:
- put a handful of candy melts into an open zipper sandwich bag.
- microwave candy in bag for 30-40 seconds or until melted.
- cut one corner of the bag with scissors to squeeze melted candy through.Caution: Bag may be hot, so use paper towel or a pot holder to handle it.
- gently squeeze chocolate out of bag and into the molds.
- tap the side of the mold tray to knock out any air bubbles and flatten chocolate.
-place in refrigerator until set.
- pop out of molds and serve.

you can actually decorate your candies in a few easy steps!

polka dots:

- use the flat end of a wooden skewer or a clean craft paint brush to dip into melted chocolate
- dot onto molds, then refrigerate
- remove mold from refrigerator when solid
- add contrasting color according to directions above.

drizzles:
- use a spoon to drizzle melted chocolate across the molds by sweeping a spoon back and forth and allowing chocolate to fall in streams
- refrigerate until solid
- add contrasting color according to directions above

3D drizzles:
- use the spoon method above, however this time drizzle the chocolate over solid candy that you have already made and let set, rather than drizzling into the molds

2. chocolate-coated strawberries
this one is super easy!
but the one which brings me sweet memories
cos its hand made by somebody on our 1st month =P

what you'll need:
- any kind of plain chocolate/ chocolate chips
- a double boiler
- strawberries

how to make it:
- melt the chocolates in a double boiler
- dip the strawberries in the melted chocolate
- let cool on parchment paper
- refrigerate or freeze the lovelies for your liking~

he came to my hall early in the morning
but i had to rush project!!
in the end he waited until i finished my work
we only left the hall at 6plus in the evening =(
but it was a wonderful night!
simple but happy =)

at the bus stopthe train was so crowded!
at the restaurant

food~

after the meal..
haha
the restaurant at boat quay we dined in
i must i must i must recommend this restaurant to all!!
the price is reasonable
the food is good
and the boss is nice!!!
yes yes mc and yy,
this the restaurant i brought u all to!
but the other time we sat by the river side
this time we sat inside the shop
the boss told me it was actually a 'different' shop
the 'shop' outside wasnt run by the same boss
they merely just provide the food
thats why the other time when we sat outside
it was more ex!
and i tell you the boss is real nice!
i was asking about this spice they used on mutton
cos i remember u cant find tt in singapore
the boss told me they actually imported it from china
and he packed some for me to bring back haha
i dun cook actually so i rejected
but he was so friendly he still went ahead to push it to me!
i shall borrow cooking utensils and cook some day!
hehe
shant waste his kindness =P
