thanks to omy that i got to catch the preview of..

xp was working so i had to watch with cr
but ok la the movie is still ok
makes up for it =P


starring leon lai and richie ren
this show reminds me very much of infernal affairs
good cops bad cops
quite typical hong kong police and thief movie
to me the plot is very average
just like the other police shows
with more actions and gory that is
to me the show was pretty violent and bloody
cr said i made the show scary
by being e only one who screamed so loud at a particular scene
haha
but cr loved the show
and claimed that it is e the best movie
out of the 3 he watched that week
overall an okay show la =)

went to watch 'the lovely bones' with xp at lido~
a super nice movie directed by peter jackson!



its actually from a same-titled best selling book by alice sebold


while waiting for the movie to start..
didnt notice lido has such nice lightings~



and the design is quite nice inside haha~


susie salmon is the female lead
(i keep on thinking of salmon sushi =PpPpP)
she got the most beautiful blue eyes i ve ever seen!


and i dun usually like blue eyes
find them scary..


anw back to the story~
the movie is abt this 14 year old girl
who was raped and brutally murdered


her spirit was supposed to be going to the heaven
but she refused to go
yet she cant go back to the earth
and so she lingers in between heaven and earth
in her own little world


susie watches over her family and her murderer
seeing how the family continue living aft her death
her dad and sis trying to find the murderer
her mom refuses to accept the pain
and ended up moving away from home
watching her crush missing her
and then moved on with life with another girl
while keeping a piece of her in his heart
the murderer began to live at ease as the time goes by
sometimes her dad n lil' bro could feel her presence
but she is just living in her own world with another free spirit
(whom then she found out was killed by the same murderer)
i love how peter jackson plays with the candy-colors
fantasy kind of themes in susie's little world~


and at the end of the story
susie was filled with hatred
but she has to control her desire to vengeance
so that her family wont be hurt
she decided to move on
and so that the family can carry on with life too..


her father was another character whom i like alot
simply said
it was the fatherly love that touched my heart..

pace of movie was slow
maybe not alot of ppl will like it

wondering why am i camwhoring so much?
it has been the same all along
jus tt now i post them out =P
but, but,
once upon a time
long long ago
i used to be camera shy!
i said tt was long long time ago! =P

getting old already
suddenly feeling it
looking into the mirror
it feels as if i am getting uglier each day
i want more flesh on my cheeks
and less flesh on my chin! =P
i hope they self migrate to the right places
hahaha
so as they can still look pretty in photos
i should keep them before i lose it
but why do my old photos look nicer?

maybe they dun exactly look nicer
its just that
i was happier
i am happy now too definitely
but when you were younger
things were simpler
troubles and problems were lesser
the lesser you think
the lesser chance of complicating yourself
and when things get complicated
the innocent happy smile is getting fader
fading.. fading.. and slowly faded...

i would say i would recommend the show
it was interesting to me
its supposed to be a fairytale
and fairytale supposed to make you hopeful
and full of beautiful fantasies
but why do i feel so depressed after watching
was i thinking too much again?
why is 'the one and only' no longer true even in fairytale now?
why wld e guy give up his gf of 5 yrs
for another whom he know for less than 5 wks?
why wld even a fairytale character's heart change?

i think i am thinking too much
and the problem is getting serious
haha should kick the habit
i shouldnt analyse too much into any situation
just enjoy whatever i gotta enjoy
nevertheless its a good show~

anyway was super busy aft exam
and will be super busy till i go home!

collect bikinis from the office!! haha
and also meeting yr1 classmates to ktv~
with buffet AGAIN
hahaha
i love buffets~~
i think not many girls can eat as much as i can
and i am happy for that
cos i can enjoy as much as i can!!!
and super worth the money haha
