i really respect my parents
and i meant REALLY
they are the ppl i respect the most
for how they overcome all the obstacles in life together
for how they maintain a happy family
for how they ever treat ppl around so well
for how they can be ever so helpful to anyone in need
for how they tolerate with all the back stabbers
for how they can always forgive and forget
for how they love us

recently they sort of adopted a friend's son, kang
a problematic kid who was expelled by previous sch
no other sch wanted to accept him
and even his parents couldnt handle him
so all the way from muar to melaka
he is staying with my family now
my dad went to talk to the sch principal
the sch where all my other siblings were studying in
requested to put him in the same class as my youngest bro
he is 3 yrs older than them
but had to start from sec 1 again cos of his results and records
and ever since then
my dad was always called to go to the sch
for all the troubles he had made

honestly
it feels really weird to have a stranger at home
everyth you do you feel uneasy
my third bro even feels that he has lost his room
lost his very own privacy
cos they are sharing the same room
the last time i came home my bro came over to slp with me
cos my sis wasnt around
sometimes he even slps in the living room when my room is occupied
of cos it hurts my parents to see that
but what they want is just to help a kid

kang is always quiet at home
totally opposite from how he behaves in school
playing computer game
watch tv
or jus lock himself in the room
i tried to talk to him before
but he hardly talks
i really wanted to help too
but i am hardly around
and honestly i dunno how to help

luckily we have my third bro at home
taking care of the family
he happened to find out that kang was surfing porn sites
then he went to warn kang
told him not to try to do anyth funny on my house comp
i know he was jus worried that my youngest bro might get to see
i know alot of guys would say its normal to see porn
but not in my family
at least not at this young age

kang also was member of some secret gang
and even after he moved here
he was still trying to contact the branch members here
which was found out by my third bro too
kang promised my dad that he will not get involved again
just hope he didnt lie..
the previous time he promised my mom to be good in sch
it lasted 3 days and he was back to his normal self again..

alot of changes when a stranger stepped into your home
living together with your whole family
i was once a stranger who stepped into kareen's family too
hope i didnt bring much trouble back then
anyway its over
now i jus pray
that kang will really change for the better
that my third bro will not feel tt he has lost his privacy at home
that my youngest bro wun get the bad influence
that my parents' efforts are not wasted

i love my family
i seriously love them so much
i have such loving parents
who are always ready to lend a helping hand
who brought the family together
sensible siblings who all know how to take care of the family
take care of the youngest bro
i just hope that things will continue this way
that nothing could change that
